The 2009 Daytona 675 was a major revision with more than fifty changes derived from World Supersport racing. It gained a higher rev limit, lighter wheels and exhaust, a taller first gear, a hydraulic cam chain tensioner, Nissin monobloc radial front calipers and restyled bodywork, adding roughly 3 hp. Lighter and sharper, it won several magazine awards.
